It has been a very long summer, and I haven't managed to get into my tiny studio for the whole of July and August. My other full time roles as chief nurse, infection control manager, and domestic help have occupied all my time and energy. However, now its September and technically the Autumn. Instead of going into hibernation I have had a small window of opportunity to create a few new pieces and prepare my ceramics for the Annual Ceramic exhibition with the Dacorum and Chiltern Potters Guild, in St Albans under the amazing timber roof of the medieval Kingsbury Barn.
This is my favourite time of year, and this show is my weekend away. Just me, my pots and lots of other talented potters and ceramic enthusiasts to speak with. If you want to enjoy a beautiful space, and some calm reflection do come along. Its a free event, and what you do with the money in your pocket is up to you.
